Visualizing

Students had to read the poem "Pumpkin", and then fill out the hand about what they visualized.  This was their independent reading job.  For the Minilesson, I read them a few pages from the book "Cherries and Cherry Pits", and they had to visualize the character described on pg. 9.  (See the picture from the book below.)  then, the students drew the character they visualized.  Check out how good they did visualizing!  :)
