Disability Awareness Month
Third grade is celebrating "Different Abilities" for Disability Awareness Month. We read the book "Why Me?" By Julie Parker. This author has a congenital hand defect, and after suffering cruelty as a child, wrote a book about celebrating differences, and being happy with who you are! Check out the posters we made to celebrate different abilities!
