Look! We Can Balance a Checkbook!!!!

We finished Ch. 5 in Math on subtraction with regrouping.  For a fun review project, each kiddo was given their own checkbook, $300 to spend, and sale ads to use for shopping!  They had to decide what to buy, subtract the amount from their balance, see how much they have left, and then shop some more!  What a fun way to practice subtraction!!!  :)  if only we really had the $300.....
